Public

Groups with learning disabilities (adults and children)

Description

What is a coat of arms? Who has one? What is it for? The group searches for coats of arms in the castle and learns about heraldry, how to decode the coats of arms they encounter and the different supports used – pennants, stained glass windows, and carved stone. The workshop ends with a personal creation of a coat of arms, following the rules of heraldry.
