Description
Pupils discover what life was like in a fortress at the end of the Middle Ages.
They discover items from castle collections (ceramic stoves, furniture) and gain in-depth knowledge of many different themes: hygiene, lighting, heating, and water and food supplies. For a better comprehension of the realities of medieval life, pupils are encouraged to handle archaeological objects and copies of medieval objects.
