  • My boyfriend and I went there mid November around 16:00. It was such a perfect timing to get the castle for ourselves. Literally was empty. The castle is by itself beautiful. We got incredible photos. Only downside is not too easy to get there, specially during cold season. We rented a car and it was not a big deal. This is a must when you visit Alsace.

  • Such an interesting place to visit. When so many castles are in ruins it was exciting to tour one that is nearly complete. They have done an exceptional job with the ongoing restorations.

  • The castle is in deed very authentic! You can definitely feel the medieval vibe in it and also how all the defense structures work! The view is also amazing as it oversee a huge plain across France and Germany.
