Tour description

How the heritage class programme is organized

The programme usually lasts for an entire five day week, Monday to Friday (although it may be held over 4 days instead if you wish to keep the Wednesday free for other activities). Each day is divided into different sessions, from time spent exploring different parts of the castle to 'hands-on' sessions with various artefacts during the different classroom workshops. Supervision and organization of activities and lessons

The week's activities and lessons are organized by a heritage education officer. The class teacher is responsible for supervising the children.

Possible topics

Daily life in the Middle Ages, architecture, heraldry, the arts in the Middle Ages, weaponry… (See the heritage class brochure).

Catering and accommodation

Lunch is served at the château restaurant and accommodation is located nearby (e.g. Châtenois).
