The aim of this workshop is to understand what daily life
in the Middle Ages was like for the lord of the castle.

distinguishing marks of this class in medieval society (dress,
coats of arms…). Back in the classroom, students
will take part in the preparation of a banquet by setting the
table, talking about the order in which the various dishes would be
served and sampling some hypocras (spiced wine).
