Haut-Koenigsbourg castle is reachable with the shuttle bus departing from the SNCF railway station of Sélestat.
Shuttle bus operating days
- Weekends and public holidays from 1 March to 4 January 2026. The castle is closed on 1 January, 25 and 26 December.
- Every day from 5 April to 4 May, from 29 May to 31 August and from 18 October to 2 November 2025.
- Shuttle timetables are based on the arrival times of TER trains from Strasbourg, Colmar, Mulhouse or Basel. See downloadable timetables.
Shuttle bus fares
- 2.50 euros: valid for a single journey with or without connection
- Free for children under 4
Preferential rate at the monument entrance on presentation of the shuttle bus ticket
- Adults: 6 euros instead of 12 euros (Offer reserved for individuals)
- 6-17 years: 6 euros instead of 8 euros (Offer reserved for individuals)
