Illustration competition

For the fourth edition of the Festival Château et Légendes, the Collectivité européenne d'Alsace, in collaboration with its partners, is organising an illustration competition from 1 March to 2 May.

For the 2026 edition, creatures of the earth are in the spotlight: Nibelungen (mythical dwarves, master blacksmiths and guardians of treasure), Kobold (underground spirit) and Berggeist (mountain spirit).

The competition is free and open to all.

Forest around the castle prohibited from 2 to 4 October

The castle is open to visitors. However, due to a field archery competition taking place, access to the woodland and the footpaths near the castle will be prohibited from 2 to 4 October 2026.
