the shuttle bus to Haut-Koenigsbourg
To make it easier for travellers to get around the Haut-Koenigsbourg massif, the shuttle bus that runs to the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle from Sélestat station also serves the Montagne des singes, the Volerie des aigles, the centre of Kintzheim and Cigoland.
- Weekends and public holidays from 1st March to 4 January 2026. (The castle is closed on 1 January and 25 and 26 December).
- Every day from 5 April to 4 May, from 29 May to 31 August and from 18 October to 2 November 2025.
The shuttle timetable is timed to coincide with the arrival of TER trains from Strasbourg, Colmar, Mulhouse or Basel. With this highly efficient transport network, each of the sites can be reached from Strasbourg or Colmar in an hour, and from Paris in just 4 hours!
Shuttle bus fares
- 2.50 euros: valid for a single journey with or without a connection.
- Free for children under 4.
Shuttle users benefit from a preferential rate at the entrance to Haut-Koenigsbourg castle, the Montagne des singes, the Volerie des Aigles and Cigoland. On presentation of the transport ticket, the entrance fee to the castle is €6 instead of €12 / adult and €6 instead of €8 for 6-17 year olds (offer reserved for individuals).
