The imperial kitchen from 1900

Fitted out by the architect Bodo Ebhardt in 1908 during the castle's restoration, the imperial kitchen has got some of the most modern equipments for the beginning of the 20th century : cast iron stove with hot water tank, heating cupboard, sink with mixer tap, fridge, ice box…

Taken from the fortress' collections, a crockery and implement set dating back to the Middle Ages Ages until the beginning of the 20th century is also showed in this place. The imperial kitchen can be discovered during the unusual visit taking place from november to march (only in french - on reservation).
