  • Awesome castle! Definitely worth a visit, although try to avoid weekends if you can. If you can't, go as early as possible. It gets crowded especially with tour buses. Fantastic views of the surrounding landscape.

  • Very interesting story and architecture for their pink stones used in the region. It’s a chateau worth the visit for the story behind but it’s not the one to see recreation of how castles used to be furnished and how they used to lived in, in case is what you’re looking for. Preferably get your tickets in advance because there’s lots of people buying on site so you can save time.

  • Nicely restored, they tried to show what it may have been like at a period in time. We enjoyed the visit.

  • My boyfriend and I went there mid November around 16:00. It was such a perfect timing to get the castle for ourselves. Literally was empty. The castle is by itself beautiful. We got incredible photos. Only downside is not too easy to get there, specially during cold season. We rented a car and it was not a big deal. This is a must when you visit Alsace.
