Exceptional closure – extreme heat
Due to the Red Alert for a heat wave and the risks posed by the persistent extreme heat to the health of visitors and staff, the Collectivité européenne d’Alsace has decided to close Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle on an exceptional basis starting this Thursday, June 25, at 1:00 p.m. (last admission for visitors at 12:00 p.m.) through Sunday, June 28, 2026, inclusive.
