Eco-friendly action

Promoting general well-being, providing a platform for the expression of cultural diversity and the examination of changing societal attitudes towards those who are 'different' will be at the very heart of the educational programmes organized by the château's Education Department. Here are some of 2013's initiatives:

In order to raise awareness about various kinds of disabilities, the castle team offered students from the municipality of Châtenois the chance to run a project in partnership with the blind and partially sighted students from the Louis Braille Institute.

The second initiative, undertaken in tandem with the not-for-profit bodies JEEP and CLJ Police, drew links between graffiti on display at the château and that seen in towns and cities.
